This coffee spot is tucked away in the West End area, and we’re pretty sure the term “morning fuel” was created with West End Coffee Co. in mind. The coffee (especially the hazelnut cappuccino) is excellent, and the space has an inviting atmosphere with outside seating that adds to the overall experience. Equally impressive is ordering a decaf dark chocolate mocha for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up to celebrate that you finally finished that hike without getting lost and/or your legs didn’t give out.

There are so many swimming spots in Sierra Vista, but The Cove – with its warm wave pool, glowing blue slide, and spacious locker rooms – is our favorite when we want a full aquatic experience. And since the recent renovations, they have added new tile throughout the facility.

This Sierra Vista spot is a family-friendly restaurant that offers a casual dining experience. The menu has a variety of options, including burgers that are generously sized and well-prepared. But where some places only serve dinner, Applebee’s is open all-day. They have attentive and accommodating staff, especially with children, and servers like Kyle go above and beyond by being caring and attentive.
Whatever you do, make sure to save room for dessert, as the servers do a great job with upselling. The environment is friendly, and positive encounters, like polite staff and small compliments, help make the dining experience more enjoyable. The ambiance is pleasant during quieter hours, though the interior is beginning to look and feel old and could benefit from updates. Parking can be limited during peak times, but overall, Applebee’s remains a reliable choice for a simple and enjoyable meal.

Few things are as consistently satisfying as Chili’s carne asada. It’s the best dish on the menu (yes, it is) with grilled steak, fresh toppings, and warm tortillas, all at a decent price point. When you add the complimentary chips and mild salsa, it’s practically a highlight. And if there’s one thing this location has going for it, it’s that the bar offers $4 beers. And you can’t eat the rolled up tacos at your table cause you’ll just notice they’re mushy.

We still need to tally the exact figures, but we’re fairly confident there’s very little that Denny’s in Sierra Vista can’t make more enjoyable. They have a solid selection of consistently delicious options to choose from, and we can’t pick a favorite. Is it the gluten-free English muffins? The strawberry crêpes with their sweet, fresh flavor? The zesty nachos loaded with toppings? It doesn’t matter.
Whatever you order, it will make you forget that you spent the entire morning dealing with a spreadsheet that refused to cooperate.

Also worth noting is that this place serves breakfast and lunch all morning and afternoon, and nothing will help you savor a quick bite better than trying the weekly habanero wrap with pulled pork or the customizable chicken Cesar wrap. Just don’t forget to head back to your day.
