Sometimes you want a perfect meal and nothing else. For those occasions, we have ground rules: exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a setting worth savoring. In short, you’ll want to return again and again to these 10 Orland Park spots.
Papa Joe’s Italian Restaurant
$$ | (708) 403-9099 | WEBSITE

Papa Joe’s Italian Restaurant is the Orland Park destination for all things Italian comfort food. Their chicken Parm and shrimp special are classic and fantastic, and if we go too long without having their meatballs, we start to have extremely weird pasta-related dreams. And even though we recommend having a full meal here, the roast lamb lives up to the rest of the menu: the spicy rice is flavorful, but still lets the tender lamb shine.
Throw in a warm, crusty bread basket and you’re in for a good time.
Wu’s Ramen and Poke
$$ | (708) 263-0912 | WEBSITE

Tucked away in the bustling shopping area of Orland Park, Wu’s Ramen and Poke is a welcoming, family-friendly spot with an open kitchen that lets you watch the chefs craft everything from scratch. The ramen selection features standout options like the rich Seafood, the zesty Spicy Miso, the hearty Beef Ramen, and the classic Miso Ramen, all served in generous portions.
Even if you’re not sure whether to go for a customizable poke bowl or the vegan-friendly choices, the friendly, efficient staff is always ready to guide you toward what you’ll love. The naturally made broth is so authentic and delicious that you’ll want to save any leftovers to jazz up meals at home.
Chili’s Grill & Bar
$ | (708) 342-1626 | WEBSITE

As the name might imply, this spot in Orland Park takes casual dining very seriously. It’s basically a lively grill and bar with a spacious, multi-level dining room, and when you want to order appetizers, you grab a menu, mark what you want, and hand it over for them to prepare. They source their inspiration from all over the menu, including popular dishes like the fajita trio and loaded nachos. If you really want to taste a variety of American comfort food, this is a great place to do it.
S2 Express Grill
$$ | (708) 840-4171 | WEBSITE

Picture, for a moment, a welcoming soul food spot from the South: clean counters, aesthetically pleasing displays, tables under warm lighting. S2 Express Grill, from the team that knows comfort food, is the place you’re imagining. While there are certainly other friendly grills like it around Orland Park, this is our favorite version in town. All of the action happens in the kitchen, where jerk egg rolls sizzle on the grill and servers never let a plate of catfish go cold.
You’ll always find a bunch of daily specials on the menu board. If you’re feeling indulgent with friends, order two slices of that iced pound cake.
Texas de Brazil – Orland Park
$$$ | (708) 998-3008 | WEBSITE

Not many people realize this, but the salad bar at Texas de Brazil is truly exceptional. Of course, no visit is complete without sampling their signature meats or grilled selections, but next time you’re here, make sure to save room for the hot foods section. They offer it as part of the full experience, but our favorite way to enjoy it is just focusing on the roasted vegetables and savory sides—a hearty, flavor-packed spread that complements the expertly prepared meats perfectly. Wonderful.
Giordano’s
$ | (708) 349-7500 | WEBSITE

Step into Giordano’s, and you can practically hear the laughter and chatter of families celebrating together. They’ve got a lively neighborhood setting that’s perfect for multi-generational gatherings, making it the ideal place to share the absolutely fantastic chicken sausage and hot peppers pan pizza that continues to receive high praise. They have two standout items–our favorites are the BBQ wings, which are a bit tangy, but still have the heat that makes them so addictive.
Their friendly service from servers like Valeria and Aldolpho is one of our favorites in Orland Park, too.
Clover’s Bar and Grill
$ | (708) 631-2603 | WEBSITE

We’re not convinced by every item on Clover’s menu, but the wings and burgers at this lively, family-friendly bar and grill always taste amazing. You can order Clover’s freshly cooked patties on a plate, or in a combo basket accompanied by crispy fries and mozzarella sticks swaddled in napkins. Both options are great, and come with what might be the best martinis in Orland Park.
Mo’s Chinese Kitchen
$ | (708) 478-8823 | WEBSITE

From the outside, Mo’s Chinese Kitchen looks like a typical strip mall spot in Orland Park. But on the inside, it’s a modern Chinese eatery with a calm, spacious vibe.
This place is good for a lot of things (including being kid-friendly), but their dining room is best used to enjoy standout dishes like orange chicken and Chicken Lo Mein while you appreciate the subdued lighting—they’ve got a solid reputation, including some seriously discerning regulars, so you can tell your friends that you technically dined in a must-visit spot yesterday.
Can’t Believe It’s Not Meat
$ | (708) 645-4077 | WEBSITE

This Orland Park vegan spot has transformed their ordering system from the usual chaotic counter service into a seamless online experience, where you’ll have time to savor their excellent sweet steak sandwich and bask in the glow of the charming flower wall. Many come for their surprisingly convincing birria chick tacos, and taste so authentic, you’d think the kitchen installed a pipeline to a traditional taqueria. Order twice as many as you think you’ll want.
Orland Oasis
$ | (708) 403-5503 | WEBSITE

From stacks of fluffy pancakes and a hearty breakfast burrito to crispy potato pancakes that taste like Germany, Orland Oasis isn’t afraid to let breakfast be the star. It’s a good place to bring family. The quaint dining room has so much cozy charm, you’ll feel like you’re eating in someone’s welcoming kitchen. But if you’d rather sit at the counter, there’s a friendly spot where the owner checks on every meal.
