10 Best Restaurants near Kimberly, WI [2026 Updated]

A perk that comes with living in a town that has roughly one week of summer a year is that you learn not to let the season dictate when you can and cannot have a proper meal. It’s called being resourceful, look it up. With that said, we’re not going to deny that warm weather and good food are an unbeatable combination, so here are our favorite places to eat during that one week of sun.

Marty’s Place

$$ | (920) 788-1817 | WEBSITE

Marty

The smoked prime rib at Marty’s Place is excellent. This classic Wisconsin supper club offers a nice, quiet atmosphere with attentive service, and they’re also known for the sturgeon – a new menu item – which is generously portioned and cooked perfectly. You can go for the ribeye, broiled haddock, or tenderloin with scallops, but when the bar’s this good, we’d keep it simple with a well-crafted, fairly priced drink.

Tanner’s Grill & Bar

$ | (920) 788-7275 | WEBSITE

Tanner

We don’t know a word that starts with grill that doesn’t bring a smile to our face. And it’s no different with this Wisconsin spot. With its attentive, cheerful staff and generous portions, you can get some of the juiciest burgers in Kimberly to go. You shouldn’t miss the classics like the char-flavored burgers that arrive as ordered, but you should also keep an eye on their bar snacks like cheese curds served on freshly made potato chips.

They’re also accommodating large groups from all their outdoor seating and corn hole setups.

Tiger’s Tavern

$ | (920) 788-6641 | WEBSITE

Tiger

Tiger’s Tavern might sound like the setting of a gritty crime drama but it’s actually a particularly fun and laid-back bar in Kimberly. Pizza and pickled eggs are available from the friendly bartenders right now in their welcoming main space, and they’re also offering the nice courtyard for private events. The atmosphere features pool tables, soulful tunes, and quick service that keeps customers coming back.

Subway

$ | (920) 788-3700 | WEBSITE

Subway

Being handed a sandwich is fine and all, but have you ever been handed a sandwich that actually feels generous? You’ll never be satisfied with a skimpy portion again. Subway offers a variety of food options dotted all over Kimberly, with the tuna being a favorite for many to choose from, and gives you the freedom to pick as many toppings as you want. The bowls are great, the salads are great, and the fact that the staff is nice and helpful is just the efficient cherry on top.

FYI, they’re also handling large orders like for a baseball team if you check out their catering options.

Old Glory Cafe

$ | (920) 788-8701 | WEBSITE

Old Glory Cafe

This Kimberly spot has some hearty, patriotic breakfast plates on offer, but we prefer to keep things on the simple – and satisfying – side with the chicken fried chicken and gravy. This place also does kielbasa breakfasts that, frankly, we’re not sure how you finish without a nap and a stretch, but they’re potentially worth keeping in mind if you’re a serious comfort food fan.

Goly & Eve Puerto Rican Kitchen

$ | (920) 687-1000 | WEBSITE

Goly & Eve Puerto Rican Kitchen

It’s a truth that anything served with rice and fried pork becomes instantly more satisfying to eat. And the potato salad at this Puerto Rican spot in Kimberly comes with that perfect creamy texture and subtle seasoning, all of which can be enjoyed alongside the main dishes. Which is basically comfort food at its finest. And we’re all about it. They do also serve their rice as a standalone side if you’re more into keeping things simple.

Funky Franks

$ | (920) 415-6044 | WEBSITE

Funky Franks

This family-friendly hot dog joint in Kimberly has been serving its tasty and heavy-duty dogs for years. You can get delicious options like the Outlaw dog, Chicago dog, Mac n Cheese dog, and Boston dog, all coming with fries or chips and a soda for under $20 for two. The menu features unique creations like the Coney dog and special fry seasoning. The staff is friendly, helpful, and down-to-earth, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the clean, casual space.

Walk-ins are welcome for dine-in, but you can also order for take-out. And they sell fun T-shirts to remember your visit.

Wildfire Coffeehouse

$ | (920) 858-4417 | WEBSITE

Wildfire Coffeehouse

Wildfire Coffeehouse is the girl next door of coffee shops. Unpretentious, charming, and everybody loves it. It’s the kind of place where you go in for an innocent coffee, and leave knowing that you will probably be returning at least once a week. The seasonal flavors are good, particularly the vanilla lavender and thyme latte, but the year-round favorites are where it’s at. Basically, if you go without trying the Samoa cookie latte and the salted caramel latte then you’re doing it wrong.

The atmosphere is cozy and beautifully adorned, perfect for studying or meeting friends, plus, you can enjoy dairy and gluten-free options without compromising on flavor.

Chefo’s Pancake House

$ | (920) 996-0160 | WEBSITE

Chefo

Much like a perfectly flipped pancake, a well-timed sunrise, and the mystery of how they keep the eggs so fluffy, we don’t entirely understand Chefo’s Pancake House. More specifically, we don’t know how they make their Mexican skillet. We do know that it involves generous portions, and, you know, flavor. Regardless, however they do it, it’s excellent.

It’s super satisfying and although they don’t serve your classic diner fare like plain toast or basic oatmeal, there are plenty of interesting options from pecan crepes to breakfast burritos, as well as lunch sandwiches. As well as offering quick and friendly service right now, they also have a neat, clean atmosphere perfect for young children.

Hometown Pub

$ | (920) 687-2222 | WEBSITE

Hometown Pub

You remember when you were young and naive – approximately two-weeks ago – and you used to think frozen pizza was just something you microwaved? Well this pub in Kimberly is serving up frozen pizzas. OK, so they’re actually baked in an oven, and they come with a great selection of beer to wash it down. So really it’s nothing like your microwave pizza phase, but you get the idea. There’s indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat in, but you can get it to go. P.S. we’d go for the bingo night.
