If you want it to takeout, their Fire Island location is better.
Brazas Restaurant & Bar

Seafood spots with generous portions and family-friendly vibes are rare finds. But this place in Bay Shore offers massive plates of perfectly cooked seafood, has convenient parking, and delivers quick, attentive service as a bonus. Servings of their delicious seafood dishes are enormous, and the bar area’s specialty cocktails are the kind of refreshing treat we crave after a long week.
Not every bite is flawless, but there’s more than enough great food and pleasant atmosphere for an excellent casual outing.

The kind employees, budget-friendly prices, and impressive flavors make it somewhere where we’ve quickly become regulars for takeout.

We’re pretty sure that if you break Captain Bills down into ingredients, it goes something like this: three parts delicious seafood, two parts waterfront marina views, and 20 parts friendly service. And if that isn’t enough to get you to this Bay Shore spot, then let us introduce you to the Sunday Brunch too. Sibling restaurant Captain Bills Catering, on site, is a great shout too.

Just like the original tucked behind the ferry parking lot, this hidden gem has an effortlessly charming energy. The service is wonderfully friendly, the steamers are the place to start, and the fried oysters are covered in praise. The sweet, delicious, fabulous steamers and soft shell crabs are a must-order.
