While many associate Maryland seafood with summer crab feasts, Owings Mills offers exceptional ocean-to-table dining year-round. From Chesapeake Bay classics to global coastal flavors, these nine restaurants deliver the freshest catches in town.
Bonefish Grill
$$ | (410) 654-5500 | WEBSITE

Though Bonefish Grill is part of a national chain, their Owings Mills location delivers a genuinely polished dining experience with servers who are both friendly and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. The food itself is reliably good, with generous portions of fresh vegetables that nicely balance the more modest sides. Our favorite is the perfectly cooked steak, but the brunch options like shrimp and grits are truly standout.
While some dishes, such as the crabcakes, can occasionally fall short of expectations, the chef’s overall skill is evident throughout the meal. The service is impeccable, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes every guest feel appreciated by the time they leave.
Seafood Wok
$ | (410) 998-1050 | WEBSITE

After establishing itself as a reliable neighborhood favorite, this family-friendly Chinese seafood spot continues to deliver exactly what it promises. Seafood Wok’s incredible lunch specials have been a constant, with generous, freshly made portions that satisfy like a full dinner. You can order popular dishes like mixed vegetables or shrimp and chicken with white sauce and enjoy them in the casual dining room or take them home.
There’s no wrong choice, but we like the shrimp and chicken with white sauce, which comes with perfectly cooked rice. If you need a quick, affordable meal for the family, Seafood Wok offers flexible hours and convenient parking. Highly recommended.
Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar
$$ | (410) 881-9098 | WEBSITE

Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar is another Owings Mills seafood spot where the atmosphere can get lively quickly. Here’s our tip: Head there during off-peak hours if you prefer a quieter experience. The crowds tend to be much leaner compared to weekend evenings, and the seafood is just as fresh. The seafood boil is an essential order here, but if you’re looking for something lighter, don’t pass up the shrimp basket.
Linwoods
$$$ | (410) 356-3030 | WEBSITE

Linwoods is an Owings Mills institution, and home to some of the best seafood you’ll find in the entire area. So when it comes to ordering cocktails, the pineapple Martini should always be your first choice. At $14, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s also perfectly prepared and can easily set the tone for an entire evening. The decadent chocolate S’mores dessert is also a must-order.
Red Lobster
$$ | (410) 902-8420 | WEBSITE

There are several reasons to make a trip to this seafood staple in Owings Mills. The crispy Dragon Shrimp is one of the best carryout options around, their perfectly cooked potatoes are worth navigating a busy parking lot, and if you need to round out your meal, there’s the option to choose your own lobster, too. Just don’t forget about their Walt’s Favorite Shrimp.
The menu has become a bit pricier, but it’s the bairdi crab legs (a customer favorite) that take the cake for us—a generous portion for $24.99, with well-packaged food that travels beautifully.
Rock & Toss Crab House
$$ | (410) 363-1360 | WEBSITE

If you’re heading to Rock & Toss Crab House for the all-you-can-eat seafood, we don’t blame you. This Owings Mills spot makes some of the best in Maryland. Just make sure you also order some hush puppies. There are a few different appetizers on the menu, including the fish and naked wings. Our favorite is their crawfish, though. Large and meaty alongside green mussels and crab legs, the spicy seasoning provides just the right kick without being overly spicy.
They’re available on the all-you-can-eat menu, or you can order from the main courses where a full seafood feast runs for about $45.
Rincon Italiano
$$ | (410) 356-3079 | WEBSITE

When you’re cruising through Owings Mills looking for something more substantial than chain restaurants, you’ll eventually spot Rincon Italiano. This unassuming Italian spot has a menu packed with classics like chicken Parmesan and penne pasta, but everyone’s really here for the pizza. It’s made fresh to order, has that perfect chewy-yet-crispy crust, and comes topped with just the right amount of sauce and cheese—so good even New Yorkers give it their stamp of approval.
America’s Best Wings
$ | (410) 654-9464 | WEBSITE

As with America’s enduring love for wings, America’s Best Wings in Owings Mills is a consistent go-to spot. This daytime wing joint serves a straightforward menu of satisfying classics, including a *crowd-pleaser* lemon pepper wing. Made with fresh chicken, the lemon pepper wings are tangy and more flavorful than whatever fast-food alternative you’d grab on the run. They’re crispy and savory without being overly greasy, and the buffalo sauce option adds a nice kick for spice lovers.
These wings cost about $12 for a dozen, though, so we’d suggest ordering to share as a hearty lunch or casual dinner at America’s Best Wings.
Mama’s on the Half Shell Owings Mills
$$ | (410) 438-1994 | WEBSITE

Located in Owings Mills, this cozy seafood spot (they’ve earned a place among the area’s best restaurants) is one of the most inviting dining destinations in town. But despite that—and its warm, fireplace-nook ambiance—Mama’s on the Half Shell is still very much a neighborhood restaurant with friendly, attentive service that keeps drinks filled and checks on guests frequently.
As for the seafood itself, expect excellent options like the seafood platter, crab cake, old bay wings, and calamari, and expect them all to be delightful.
